Talent Talks by be/impact is a podcast where we sit down with leaders across professional services, technology and other knowledge‑intensive industries to explore how to attract, grow and retain people in a world where artificial intelligence is reshaping work. Each episode is a candid conversation designed to inspire better cultures, share best practice and challenges on upskilling and how to create purposeful organisations.

Why we started Talent Talks

We started Talent Talks to create a space where decision‑makers can share their lessons on building workplaces people want to stay in. The show helps guests showcase their expertise, and it gives listeners practical ideas they can apply.

What we explore

In 2026 our focus is on AI and the human side of work. Episodes will cover three themes:
  1. Culture in the age of AI – How do you build a workplace where people stay and thrive when technology is changing every role?
  2. Re‑ and up‑skilling – How can organisations upskill existing talent, influence mindset and introduce the right safe guarding, so they feel confident with AI rather than overwhelmed by it?
  3. Purpose and impact – Why does meaning matter even more when machines are doing more of the tasks? How do you weave social impact into your talent strategy?
We’ll also look at the soft skills that underpin all of these topics: communication, collaboration, judgement, leadership habits and comfort with change.

How this connects to be/impact

Talent Talks isn’t just a show – it reflects what be/impact does. At be/impact, we believe teaching is not only the best way to learn but also the best way to create or as we say be/impact. Our platform helps employees reinforce their training by teaching their skills to nonprofits — creating stronger learning retention for businesses, vital skills for nonprofits, and a workforce with purpose.

According to the news we are “an award‑winning purpose led startup on a mission to upskill 10 million employees while breaking down barriers to education”.

Our teach‑to‑learn approach means the skills your people need to thrive in an AI world don’t just sit with one person – they spread across teams and make a tangible difference outside the organisation.
